The New York Times

BB King died last week, the last of the three kings of blues; Freddie King; Albert King; and now BB King. I love the blues, and nobody embodies the fact that it isn’t the notes you play, but the notes you don’t play than BB King.

He will be missed.

Becoming a Better Thinker with Writing

21.05.2015 02:00

A fantastic post about reading and writing.

I often say that reading is good for you. And it is. But you need to read the kind of books that will make you think, and think differently. And you need to take some notes, write down some quotes. A books journal is a great place to start.

And pick up some of the classics, some Plato, some Aristotle, some Descartes, some Nietzsche in other words, the classics. There is a reason people have been reading them for a very long time.

Day One

21.05.2015 02:00

Beyond syncing, Day One Sync is vital to the future of the Day One platform. It lays the foundation for numerous future features, including multiple journals, a web client, shared journals, multiple photos, journaling via email, a robust API, and more

I moved over right away. It is way faster than Dropbox, or iCloud. I love it, and I really look forward to what they plan do with the new backend in the future.

Greenpeace

21.05.2015 02:00

It’s good to see that Apple are doing great on this Greenpeace report, and Facebook isn’t that bad either, while Google isn’t doing that well compared to the two, but isn’t that bad overall.

I love it when my employer push companies like Apple, Facebook and Google to become better and to make sure that this planet are in better shape for future generations. Because our partens and grandparents fucked it up for us.
